Hello! My name is Elsi Feldman and I am thrilled to be in Mitchell community as a kindergarten teacher. A proud graduate of Texas Woman’s University, I bring nine years of experience teaching Pre-K within a non-profit and charter school partnership. Moving into the Kindergarten classroom this year feels like a natural and exciting evolution of my career, and I can’t wait to bring my experience in early childhood development to our school.

I love being a teacher because I get to be a foundational part of a student's lifelong love for learning. There is nothing quite like the energy of a classroom where curiosity is encouraged, and I am passionate about creating a space where every student feels seen, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

When I'm not in the classroom, I am likely keeping up with my own two "students" at home! I have been happily married for nine years and am the proud mom of two active boys—a 4-year-old and a 3-year-old boy. Being a parent has given me an even deeper appreciation for the trust families place in teachers, and I am so eager to partner with you all to make this a fantastic school year.
