Mrs. Katie Keyes

Hi! My name is Katie Keyes, and I'm proud to serve as the 1st grade team leader at Schell Elementary. I earned my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Sties with an emphasis in Reading from the University of Texas at San Antonio and hold ESL certification.

With over 20 years in education, I've had the joy of teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Teaching is truly my passion. My goal is to create a warm, family-like atmosphere in my classroom where students feel valued and excited to learn. 

I'm thrilled to be part of the Schell Elementary community and look forawrd to building strong connections with out students, famililies, and staff
